5.0 out of 5 stars Way Better Than The First!, June 12, 2004
This review is from: Mortal Kombat: Annihilation - Original Motion Picture Soundtrack (Audio CD)
This might just be the best soundtrack ever made. The Main Theme is absolutely fantastic! It's definatly better than the first one, it's faster, and really dancey. The 2nd song, "Fire" is also tons of fun. And then the 3rd one is fantastic! Oh gosh, what am I saying? Every single song on here is better than the last! With the exception of the Kill Bill: Volume 1 soundtrack, I don't think there's one finer. Even if you think you aren't into the Techno/Industrial type music, give it a shot. I've had a lot of my friends listen to it, and I've yet to have one say, "oh my gosh, what is that CRAP?" most of them ask if they can borrow it! I've recorded it off to tape for so many people I've lost count!

5.0 out of 5 stars Much better than the first MK soundtrack., November 16, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Mortal Kombat: Annihilation - Original Motion Picture Soundtrack (Audio CD)
The first MK soundtrack was good, but there was too much hardcore punk. This one had not a lot of singing, and there was more instrumentalism to these tracks, and they were very good. I recommend this CD highly. Also, check the MK movie Score. I bought the first MK CD, thinking it was just the instrumental music, but it wasn't. I just found out yesterday that there are two different CDs.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing album to say the least!, November 2, 2000
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Mortal Kombat: Annihilation - Original Motion Picture Soundtrack (Audio CD)
I'll be honest, when I first bought this album I wasn't too fond of it. After hearing the fantastic soundtrack and score to the first movie I was expecting much of the same. After forcing myself to listen to this new album consistantly I completely take back my original opinion...

Many of the bands on this album I have since grown to love (ie Rammstein, Pitchshifter, KMFDM, Scooter, and Lunatic Calm). Definately pay attention to the Pitchshifter track, it's one of a kind energetic chaos, and it's incredible! Danny Saber's remix of Megadeth - Almost Honest is also formidable! 10 time greater than the original.

Some tracks to skip over after repetidly listening: The Immortals (too close to the original), Urban Voodoo, and Joseph Bishara's Death Is The Only Way Out... Forget all you've read, buy this album now and listen for yourself. You will thank me in the end.
