Grant Bailie's sophomore effort "Mortarville" is an amusing romp that will take you on an adventure that starts in the generic plot-line of a cheesy 50's sci-fi novella and ends in a beautifully conceived climax inside of a dilapidated shopping mall. Mr. Bailie's easy juxtaposition of the mundane and the absurd give life to this novel and exemplify what is best about his style.
