The Heavy, Heavy Stuff,
By
This review is from: Dub Me (Audio CD)
This album features everything I like about dub. The rythms are ultra heavy, and the production is wild. My pet peeve is dub records with overly present vocals, or cheesy, happy melody lines. This album is nothing but the heavy rythms and spacey textures a man needs to get gone.

One of the greatest Dub albums of all time...,

I am actually honoured to be the first to review this amazing piece of work! what can I say... King Tubby baby! a thumpin' jumpin' upbeat dub album with one of reggae's guitar greats Bingy Bunny. For those of a darker dub fancy there's "Lightning and thunder" which features some crashing thunder sounds and with the help of spring reverb, the King almost transforms the drums into rain! One of my favorite albums...EVER.
