We love our Whip-It and use it almost every day. We keep it full of fresh cream, with some sweetener and a touch of vanilla, in the fridge so it's always ready to go. It's great for a quick dessert of berries and whipped cream or to top of a cup of coffee.

Being able to quickly make fresh whipped cream with your own choice of ingredients makes special diets like low-carb ones a lot easier to stick to.

I had trouble deciding between the "Whip-It!" brand and the "iSi" brand cream charger for our home use. I went with the Whip-It! mostly because it cost half as much. I like to buy quality items that last a long time, not disposable junk so I was inclined to buy the best - which would appear to be the iSi brand. So far, I'm glad we went with the less expensive option. It's well-built and fits perfectly in the door of our fridge.

We've been using our 1/2L dispenser with the Whip-It brand cartridges and have no complaints. This size is perfect for our family, dump-in a pint of whipping cream mixed with 1T of powdered sugar and have a tasty treat always ready to go in the fridge.

It's re-usable and you can have more control over what's going in to your body!

True, this item isn't as cheap as a can of Reddi whip, but I know what I put into my whipped cream now. I put it on my coffee, icecream, my kids love it, my extended family find the flavor wonderful. My 3 year old will do anything for a blast of whipped cream, even clean her room spotless! :)

For me, this is one of the best appliances I have ever bought and it is always in the fridge ready to go, for two weeks!

I don't really find it money saving, although outside of the inital item cost, I don't find it any more expensive than buying one or two cans every week.

I got this as a gift for Father's Day since I've been on a low carb diet for the past several months (yeah low carb!) and whipping cream is a nice change-of-pace typically low carb dessert. Use caution when buying the canned stuff because some of them as Reddi-Whip use more sugar than others, Land-o-lakes for example.

Anyway, I was hoping to stop buying the cans which seem wasteful and definitely not "green" and make my own whipped cream. This has the added benefit of being able to exactly control all the ingredients in the final product. I looked at several models of these devices and settled on this WhipIt model after reading the reviews and so far I'm very pleased with it.

The WhipIt is well made and doesn't feel fragile or cheap. The whipped cream produced can be customized by how much cream you add but it always seems to come out very tasty unless you add way too much. It comes with 3 dispenser head attachments and also a recipe book which has many other foods you can make but I've only used mine for whipped cream so far. The pre-made whipped cream cans are about $2 each here so that means it will likely take a very long time, if ever, for the WhipIt to pay for itself. Nevertheless I am still very pleased with it because of its other benefits and I'd definitely buy this model if I was in the market for one (or ask for it as a gift again).

I bought this whipper because I wanted to sweeten my whipped cream with sugar-free flavored syrups. It works great.

I have owned one of these for the last 15 years. We paid about $15. for the first one and $20. for our second (about 7 years ago. I sent my brother to buy one at William Sonoma today and was stunned when he called to tell me that the price ranged from $50. to $140. If it wasn't so cool, I would recommend that no one ever pay the current prices. This is obscene. The technology has not changed since the soda fountain was invented!
