The car seat/carrier component of this travel system is Gracos award-winning SnugRide model, an already perfected design that most families are familiar with. The SnugRide has a secure 5-point harness with an adjustable chest clip and a padded infant head support that is removable. This carrier locks into the included LATCH-equipped car seat base or the stroller or may just be carried with baby nestled inside.
The stroller supports toddlers up to 40 pounds and the car seat contains infants up to 22 pounds and 29 inches long. --Cristina Vaamonde

The car seat is great and simple to make secure for our infant son, both in the car and as a part of the travel system.
