I love this book, I have recommended it to all my nursing classmates, and I use it at work. This is an excellent book and I have learned so much more from it. It goes into really good detail on all tests. What the test is, why its important, what its for, gives rationals for abnormal values. I cant stress enough how great this book is.

I bought this book for nursing school - needed a lab and diagnostics book that was up-to-date and thorough. This book is amazing - exactly what I needed.

I bought this book for my care plan and the book was great, there were a couple of lab values that I wished it would have gone into more depth but that is because my professor wanted very precise information. The book, for the most part, went into depth about each value and the pros and cons of the values. The book save me time and many hours of sleep. I highly recommend the book because trust me, you'll need it.

This is the perfect book for students new to the medical field or those who just need a refresher. It explains all types of diagnostic tests from A to Z including blood tests, EKG's, pulmonary tests, radiology and many more. It explains the test, what to tell the patient to expect, how to use the info the test will report, and any other info related to diagnostics. There are multiple indexes help find the correct diagnostic test for what you're trying to find out about your patient. It's a great reference book that I will use for a long time!

This book was required for a med-surg nursing class. Book is somewhat disappointing. Information is usually in-depth and useful, however, the most frustrating aspect is that the page numbers in the index do not correspond to different lab values...so it is frustrating and time-consuming to actually find what you are looking for! Very poor organization of the book...but, if you can find the information, the info. is useful.

This book was listed as "Like New" but it was "Like Used." It came in a package that had been ripped open and then taped shut. The book itself had multiple bends in the pages and in the cover; it was also covered in paper packaging material making the book appear dirty. I was very disappointed considering I spent a few dollars less than what the book would cost new.

I ordered this book for a class and will get much use out of it.

The description was exactly what it said it was and thats all I ask for.
