Extremely helpful for nursing students in clinicals. I found every card I needed. There are summary cards for pharmaceutical groups too e.g. antihypertensives. They will be useful for studying for the NCLEX too! The only thing I would change is the weight of the cards. They are thin and it would be more protective if they were made on a heavier stock.

Former RN, I ordered these for my daughter. Disappointed! No dosages. Missing a lot of&information. Better to write your own!,

Mosby's nursing Drug Cards. I would not recommend. As a former RN, I ordered for our daughter. No dosages! Missing much pertinent info.and drugs. Writing your own will probably be more effective, unfortunately. Unless another company has better cards. Anyone know of any? Nursing is a wonderful and fulfilling profession.

The quality of the paper stock is poor, but worse is how incomplete the set was. Even some very common drugs weren't there. Nursing school is hard enough without trying to make your own cards to fill in the gaps.Update: I returned these and bought MediQuik. The set is more complete, each card has more information, and the box came with a vinyl sleeve to protect the group of cards you're using that day.

I am a junior nursing student and had to order this for a grade (if i wouldn't have i would have gotten points taken off my first test!). However, my teachers even noticed that whenever drug cards were due for clinicals, most were written out by hand because they were not included in this set. Many of the drugs not included were things that we use all the time! It was a waste of money but the book was worth buying because that's where we got most of the missing information.

Hand writing drug cards is tedious and time-consuming. If you're reading this review you already know that. These cards will give back most of your time and aren't nearly as tedious. Once you get the hang of them (look at the index cards located in the back of the box first)you'll enjoy using them. I would agree with the previous reviewer who said thicker cards would be better, but more substantial cards would make a tremendous box, wouldn't it?
