Little things... pictures, very silly pictures...helped me remember what drug classes were and the side effects. I am a very visual learner and these really helped. Better than plain drug cards. Worth the $ :)

These cards are great to help you learn your phamacology, but unfortunately there are a lot of more important medications that are missing from this set :(

I wasn't sure if I would like this, but it's awesome. Every med or med class has a mnemonic illustration on one side, so it's great for studying. The main points are covered for each med. I'm definitely using this to study for the NCLEX and I'm buying another one for my study buddy.

I like these notecards, but if you don't have the money to spare then I wouldn't worry about it. Depending on which nursing school you go to, the important information they have on there may not include what you have to know. They sum up a lot of categories & don't differentiate as much as I'd like, but it adds some fun to your study time.
Bottom line: If you're not worried about money, get them. If you don't have the money, don't worry about it. This won't help make or break your grade.

I used these notecards to study for NCLEX and passed with 75q. I am a visual learner, and it helped a lot. In the days that I was too tired of the boring books, I had fun with the silly cartoons on these notecards. It doesn`t have all the meds you must know to pass the test. So, you need something else. I didn`t give 5 stars because it should have more meds.

This book is the ultimate study guide for nursing pharmacology! I aced my Hesi Pharm-Exam with a score of 1075! the Mneumonic's are made simple to remember, along with the funny pics. I recommend this book to all LVN nursing students struggling with pharmacology.

Not only are these flash cards relevent for studying for exams but they are great for quizzes as well as handy quick info while doing your nursing rounds. They absolutely make all the complicated jargon in the textbooks make more sense. They cut it to the chase and just give you what you need to know. I loved using them all semester long and I'm sure I will be using them as nurse student as well as a full fledged RN..

This is an EXTREMELY helpful book for reviewing your drugs. I'm a pharmacy student and it has helped me so much. The pictures really help it stick out in your mind. I would highly recommend it to all health care professionals!

Good,

not Flashcards so much as information cards, but the pictures and pneumonics are definitely helpful. Does a good job of categorizing the meds and side effects for the different classifications. The front of each card has pictures and headings to help you remember key points. Then the back of the card pretty much lists your need-to-knows, like reactions to look for, assessments to do etc. Glad I got them.

I am a big fan of the nursing cartoons. I'm sort of an "everything" learner: I need all learning styles before a concept really sticks ; ) These are perfect for visual learners or those with a more photographic memory. What I like so much about these in particular is that, unlike other nursing cartoon products, these cartoons provide detailed, concrete info on the reverse side. These arent just for memorizing, they work great for learning as well. I just wish they had other volumes for even more meds
