The alphabetised listing of individual agents in the fifth section gives details on drugs of primary use in patients with cardiopulmonary diseases. This section includes drugs affecting the cardiovascular system or commonly seen in critical care (e.g. antihypertensive agents, antidysrhythmics, antianginal, diuretics, anticoagulants, neuromuscular blocking agents andcorticosteroids). Agents directly targeted at diseases of the respiratory system such as anti-tuberculosis agents and antihistamines (H antagonists) are also included for reference.
