Textbook for Nursing Assistants Text and Workbook Package,
By K.M. Wells (USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Mosby's Textbook for Nursing Assistants (Paperback)
As a Nursing Assistant Instructor, this very updated textbook is pleasing to the eye, easy to read, excellent illustrations and chapter reviews. The workbook has crossword puzzles and other game and FUN related activities for the students to interact and learn together in class. A great Deal! IF you are a student or a teacher, DON'T delay, order right away.

The book was perfect for the class I took. It had great details into everything we covered. The workbook was an awesome study tool for the tests and the Michigan state exam.

This review is from: Mosby's Textbook for Nursing Assistants - Textbook and Workbook Package, 7e (Paperback)
Numerous typos and absolutely redundant throughout the entire textbook. It's use as a main textbook for certified nursing assistant courses is absolutely laudable. For instance, page 146 is part of a chapter regarding safety precautions. It advises to allow children to play behind parked cars and to allow them to play with sharp, exploding, shrill objects/toys. I believe the sentence meant to say "Do not allow" but forgot the "not." Small typos like this provide I'll-advised information for a healthcare occupation. Not exactly the type of information you want to ingrain in developing students.
