This review is from: Moses (Hardcover)
I love this book. It tells the story of Moses in chronological order, which can be hard for kids to follow in the Pentateuch. Most kids who go to church or synagogue will know many of the details of Moses' life, but Fisher is able to tie them together with some really great illustrations. Hearing it all in one narrative gave my kids a little more understanding of how Exodus, Leviticus, and Numbers linked together. They also got a better sense of how Moses was old, faithful, and human in this account. After seeing things like "the Prince of Egypt," this was definitely a step up in their Moses education.
Recommended highly for homeschool early grades (K-3), but it was nice even for me! |
