Detailed life story of one of the most important men in modern Israeli history. Also, since it was written in 1972 (US edition came out in 1973)and he died in 1981, this book is more honest than those that come out after someone's demise (when they tend to be either too nice or too nasty). I got to see him in person in the late 70's near Tacoma WA at a college lecture - at which Palestinian protesters in front of me nearly caused a riot.
