I purchased this item with amazon prime, and the package I got was torn open and by the mystery moshling, I can't give it to my daughter in her stocking now!! Not happy about the item not being as described. The moshi monsters themselves are great little toys though. My daughter is in love with them!!!

I bought this for my 7 yo son for Christmas with the book. (Sold seperatly)He didn't use it at first until I showed him the book full of all the other characters and now he just won't put them down and wants more! I highly recommend that you purchase the book with these-they definately encourage reading! And they're perfect for boys and girls alike!

When I bought this as a gift for my daughter's friend, I expected to get the ones in the first picture -- gingersnap and someone else -- but we ended up with Rocky and Fumble, definitely NOT what I would have chosen. It could be that the mystery one is the cutest one ever, but so far I'm not impressed at all. You should be able to choose which ones you're getting so you can build a collection OR be told up front that you could get anything they choose to send.
