I recently got a Moshi Screen Protector for my iPad. I got it mainly because my old one was wearing down and I thought I would try this one after reading all of the reviews on here saying how great it was. I will say this, it is the easiest screen protector to put on, period. There are no bubbles and it is by far the easiest one I have ever applied. But not all is good with this screen protector.

The reason I don't think I'll keep this on my device is based on a few things. First, the protector does not actually adhere to the screen, but around the black portion of the iPad screen. Because of this it creates a little bit of give when pressing on the ipad screen. It changes the whole experience of what the screen should feel like. Its like the screen becomes plastic and you are slightly pressing in when you touch it. This is a big change for me and not one that I like.

Secondly, there is very slight watermarking on the screen when it is applied. Since it doesn't adhere to the entire screen it can leave some swirly marks that are very noticeable in direct sunlight. For some people this wouldn't be a big deal, but for me it is a deal breaker. Isn't one of the joys of using the iPad looking at its big beautiful screen?

Thirdly, and there is no way around this one, this protector diminishes some of the screens clarity. It is anti-glare and you lose some of the sharpness of the screen. On the plus side though the anti-glare does cut down on the fingerprints.

All in all I would say that while this is the easiest way to put a screen protector on your ipad without any bubbles, you lose way to much in regards to the feel and screen clarity for me to recommend this type of protector to anyone. Hopefully this will be helpful to someone and you won't make the same mistake as me and order based on the positive reviews on here.

Absolutely the best I've tried November 21, 2010

This was the 3rd screen protector I tried on my iPad and it is by far the best.

I had a Zagg professionally installed and it looked great. The guy did a great job of installing it. I still have the Zagg protector on the back of my iPad. My main problem was the feel of the Zagg protector on the screen. It had a sticky texture that really got in the way of easy touch gesturing. It drove me nuts and after about a week I tore it off.For the same reason I love it on the back of my iPad as it makes it much less slippery and way easier to hold.

I next tried another mail order anti glare screen protector which worked fairly well but I pretty much botched up the install and even though I got nearly all of the bubbles out I ended up with some lint under the skin which drove me nuts.

Lastly I installed the Moshi. After my past experiences I really took my time getting my iPad really clean and polished and was very careful to get all of the lint off of the screen. The rest of the install was incredibly easy. I have other friends that didn't quite get it right on the first try and it's stiff and forgiving enough to take it off and try again. Not recommended but it's good to know that the option is there if needed.

It's stiffness really helps in lining up the cover. Just make sure the hole for the button and the sides are lined up and you're pretty much done.

I love it.

Perfect..the best screen protector I've ever used October 8, 2010

No more air bubbles, no more difficult installations, no more frustration with screen protectors. This is a wonderful product. I've used every kind of screen protector, from the cheap $0.50 ones to the expensive Zagg Invisible Shields. This offers the best protection and the easiest installation. No complicated adhesive procedures or spray bottles or squeegees. The protector only sticks to the black edges of the iPad and not the screen, so you will never have any bubbles under the screen. Easy to remove with no residue. The best!

Okay

The screen did not match up with the camera, the screen often attract fingerprint and was very hard to clean it off. Not worth $30.
