I have been using my mosquito magnet for about 18 months now. It matches the advertising and is effective as promised. It has significantly reduced the mosquito population in my back yard. It did take some time as promised to kill them off, but I can really tell the difference from one side of the yard (where the mosquito magnet is located by my deck) to the other. Keep in mind that this thing promises at best a 1 acre coverage and my yard is 2 1/2.

I live in Minnesota where the Mosquito is our 2nd State bird and this machine works wonders. Our yard has bushes and trees and the machine controls the mosquito population great. We also live by a lake and many marshes and wetlands and since buying this machine Spring 2004 we have been virtually mosquito free. It takes a couple of weeks to start to work but once the mosquitos hatch, they swarm to the machine and we have to empty the basket almost every other day! Before the mosquito magnet we would have to go into the house before it even became dusk because of all of the mosquitos! Now we can swim in our pool and have fun in our backyard into the night. I would recommend this to anyone who maintains their schedules around the dreaded mosquito!

It did take some time (about 6 weeks total, since that is the lifecycle of mosquitos), but our yard is now almost completely mosquito free. It works.

We bought the smaller model of the mosquito magnet. We installed it out by our pool somewhat in the woods. There is a running stream in the spring and in the summer it stays wet, but not running, the mosquitos used to be unbearable by 8:00 pm. Now we are able to stay out and sit by the pool all night without a problem. It was a great purchase.

The mosquito magnet has made our back yard usable. This was delivered very quickly. Great product.

Our home is surrounded by woods; for years, the deck was unusable from dusk on, unless you fogged an hour earlier (and who wants to breath that stuff?). The Mosquito Magnet has solved the problem; ours is three seasons old, with no problems. Interestingly, this was not a bad year for mosquitos, but the unit works just as well for no-seeums, capturing literally hundreds of them. A propane tank and an attractrant cartridge each last about three weeks; when the propane runs out, I know it is time to replace the cartridge. I figure that for about $100 a seummer, we can have a deck to enjoy. It really is a teriffic product.

Working as designed. Attracts those nasty biting insects. I have noticed a decrease in the mosquitos around my home since the purchase of my Mosquito Magnet system! Very happy.

I have ordered from this company before and have been pleased with their service and prices.

We have had our Mosquito Magnet for 3 years now. I still am amazed at how many mosquitoes are in the net after just one week. We have 2 wetland areas below our house so lots of mosquitoes and the octenol does seem to attract even more mosquitoes.

We purchased a Mosquito Magnet and at the recommendation of the manufacturers we purchased Octenol. The bait that came with the Mosquito Magnet worked well but as soon as we placed the Octenol, the number of mosquitos captured tripled. This is a great product.
