Shadowy, northern-light, shape-shifting . . .,

This review is from: Mossebo (Audio CD)
Subtitled "Featuring Lisa Barra," Mossebo is a mix of ambient soundscapes enveloping Lisa Barra's wordless vocals, forming a set of drifting dreams to chant to, or a drifting set of chants to dream to, whatever your pleasure. Agebjörn would fit right into the ECM set of cerebral jazz composers, if he were to add a melody anywhere. Instead, he'll combine the roar of train wheels with a choir, or airy stutters with shuffling drones. Shadowy, northern-light, shape-shifting of sounds make a fascinating listen for fans of Steve Roach, early Tangerine Dream, and those open to the extended Nordic nights.
