A delightful quick trip to being a better parent!
From among the muddle of "Better Parenting" books comes forth this delightful and straight-forward guide. I suspect that no one can read it without improving their parenting style and general outlook on life. I bought several to give to friends. Bill Dingus

Common Mistakes Good Parents Make
Slow hard to get into this book. We are using it as a class book study and having difficulty translating it to the group care of children. May be good reference for the parent.

One of the best parenting books to help raise young children. Step by step tools to ensure your child's self esteem and ensure their confidence. Very important. Liked the examples and quizzes provided.

This is a wonderful book. It was such an easy read. Parents want easy to understand approaches to parenting problems -and this book has them. They certainly worked for my kids!

Thank you good doctor Kevin Steede!! Thank you!!Don't be fooled by the title. This isn't like David Leterman's top tens. There's nothin funny about children unless it's Halloween. Before we got this book as a present our fourth preciuos one Jimmy Jr. had driven us to hell and back. Even though he's twelve years shy of driving!! Before this book, Jimmy spent those afternoons hopped up on sugar and the game shows, but no more! No sir! Following the good Doctor Steede's advice, we have him doing what the book called "yes!" activities. Picking up trash and whatnot. (Since we live alongside the interstaqte, you know there's never any shortage of filth.) Also, my wife and I have found the book to be really good when we're pointing out the things our friends are doing wrong with their kids. And it gave us good reason to tell our Lamaze instructor where she could stick her "advice." One more last thing though. I was surprised to see that pit bulls diddn't made the doctor's 10 mmost common mistakes list. Maybe next year. A good good book!
