Book Description

October 6, 2008
PREFACE. WE believe it may be asserted, without fear of contrdiction, that no book has yet been published, in the English or my other language, which even professes to give a complete description of the Natural History, Physiology, Pathology, and General filanngement of, the liorso, in a form and dyle suited to the country gentleman of the nineteenth century. For thcso reasons the author of this work has thought that a book, combining all tho above subjects, treated in a prncticd manner, and in a style yopulnrly intelligible, got containing the lnost recent views of eminent nuthorities in veteririary knowledge....
