This book has some good ideas, but the format is too childish for my group of 14 year olds. For example, one activity has the kids stand in a circle while they sing Jesus Loves Me. The book would be good for 4th or 5th graders, but not for teenagers.

The book works well for children k-12. Some of the activities feel a little too childish for older teens, but my high school students enjoy helping the younger elementary kids so the activities work well for my group. Each lesson requires some preparation, but they're not extensive.

I have used this book in three churches, multiple times in each church. the lessons are clear and concise and you can develop/specialize them for your group easily

I used this book with middle school students at a Christian school. We used it at the end of the school year when the rest of the day would be spent doing "nonsense" things and cleaning. Each devotion lasted about an hour. I liked that the curriculum included portions for whole group instruction, ideas that can be modified for children to work in small groups, written exercises, and activities.

Overall, the students I taught responded very well to the lessons. I did not teach all 13, but those I taught were enjoyed. I did need to modify some lesson activities, knowing that my students would not respond well to them. For instance, some lessons are slightly too large group/written. At the end of a school year, revved-up teens need activity. So, I changed some portions of the lesson to be a race (which team could have all the answers written on their sheet the fastest?) or to include an activity of my own.

In general, I'm happy with the purchase. If I had to do it over again, I'd still buy the curriculum.

I may not use theses lessons exactly has they are but there are a lot of ideas to be taken from this book. Happy with it.

I'm still using the lessons in this book, but the ones I have done so far the youth really enjoyed!

I selected this book for our children Sunday school class for the 2010. The teacher & I agreed that this book is very informative, has a lot of activities. I pray that our children who will be attending S.S. class will be well informed and will impact them for the rest of their lives.
