I had the privilege to listen to this CD at a client's home one afternoon while doing a 90 minute massage. It was wonderful! This was my first opportunity to get to amazon to buy this CD and I'm thrilled to be the first to tell how great this CD is. I've only heard one of the two CDs and the one I listened to was nearly 75-80 minutes long. Every tract sounded very clear with no backgroung noise. You won't be disappointed!! If you feel tense or stressed, listening to these selections will calm your nerves and renew your spirit. From tract to tract, each has mind easing flow that can help enable you to relax your breathing and clear your thoughts. You will be filled with serenity and peace. In my profession I have listened to many different types of relaxing and classical variations of compositions so I can tell you that you will not regret buying this collection of music.

I first developed a taste for this music a number of years ago when my daughter started playing in the orchestra. The reason I made this purchase however, was because I have a great deal of difficulty with anxiety and I was looking for ways to find help. I love these CDs. It helps so much to sit and close my eyes and enjoy the music. The CDs are full of beautiful music.

I was not really a classical music fan but I am now. I purchased this cd for my 14 year old grand-daughter, not knowing we would both enjoy the music so much. She has always enjoyed classical music along with all of the other teen music, rap, rock, country, etc.
Also, it really helped being able to listen to parts of the music before purchasing.

First, let me begin by saying that I accidentally listed this review for a similar CD, when it was meant for this one. So, if you read that already, please know I am not just copying, it was an error!

I don't know a lot about classical music, but I wanted a CD that would be relaxing and would highlight some of the more well known classical songs. Browsing on Amazon, I cam across this CD and previewed the songs and loved it! Since it arrived in the mail, it is all I listen to! It is so very relaxing. I tend to have a little road rage at times, so I play it in the car and feel very relaxed. It really does seem to melt my troubles away. If you don't know much about classical music but want something relaxing that will help you learn some of the more famous songs, this CD is for you. Actually, this CD is for anyone! I am so glad I bought it, and it is great for a first timer like me. Don't hesitate...buy it now. You will be glad you did. I love it so much that I am previewing again...(left my CD's in the car!).

For casual or serious classical music customers, this is a perfect mix of outstanding classical selections.

I gave these 2 CDs to Mom to help her go to sleep at night. She enjoys them and would recommend them for others.

I bought this CD to give my young daughter a tour of Classical music, but after listening to it, decided to get better performances and better recordings of these classics. The quality of the music played on this CD is sub-standard, as is the recording itself. There are far better recordings out there. I would look for these classics performed by world-class orchestras, and not the nameless, amateur-sounding orchestras featured on this album.

This two CD set is a tremendous bargain--both CDs have some of the most beautiful classical music ever written. Great performance of each piece--a joy to listen to.

good but not as good as the "best classical in the world". You have to be prepared that these are like greatest hits selections. Still it's nice, as they say, very relaxing.
