Hilary Duff stares off the cover of Most Wanted with the look of a doe-eyed, feathered-haired criminal. Or maybe she's just exhausted, which would explain why she revisits so much already-released material. Three of the teen queen's biggest, brightest hits ("Come Clean," "Rock This World," and "Why Not") get the remix treatment. Impossible though it seems, each remix is still zippier than the original. Perennial fave "So Yesterday" is squished between the hard-rockin', deeply satisfying "Mr. James Dean" from 2004's Hilary Duff and the too-girlie-for-its-own-good "Metamorphosis" from the same-named 2003 disc. There are three originals including opener "Wake Up", a slightly self-pitying look inside the celebrity glass bubble, but to a great beat, the danceable "Beat of my Heart," and emo-esque "Break My Heart." The burning question of whether it's worth it to buy this record based on the inarguably good remixes and three original tracks will be dictated by how severe her fan base's withdrawal symptoms are. If magazine covers bear any relation to the old practice of plastering a town with "wanted" posters, odds are Duff's zillions of fans will not only find this disc but help her deliver on its smart title's promise. --Tammy La Gorce

I honestly don't care what other people say about Hilary Duff, and/or her music. I think she has a great voice, and should not be criticized so much. This is a really good album! She sounds great on it!! Even though it's a CD with some of her older songs, it's still just as good- plus, if you look at the credits on the CD slip cover, you'll see that she co-wrote a lot of the newer songs. Also, some people can sing, some people can write songs, some people can do both. So what if she doesn't write all her own songs? That doesn't take away from her greatness factor. If you don't want to listen to some repeated songs from her previous CD's, then I probably wouldn't reccomend that you buy this. But, for a Hilary fan, this is a perfect combination of the best of Hilary's old, new, and remixed songs. And, as always, Hilary shines in the newest edition to her collection. Oh, and it's cool that her boyfriend and his brother did a lot for this CD!!

This album is Hilary's third release. Theres like, no new material, it's just a compilation of Hilary's "best". Hilary Duff can't sing. This album is evidence of that. I was able to put up with this, because she WAS a good role model for young girls. She didn't dress trashy, she wore natural make-up, she looked & acted her age.

Suddenly, now, upon the release of this album, Hilary is no better than Lindsay Lohan. She's got huge veneers now (which she claims she HAD to get beecause her teeth hit a microphone & fell out .... smells a bit fishy to me) which look totally fake. This would be manageable, if the girl didn't lose about 20 pounds. She's turned into the anorexic that she said she'd never become.

So, not only is she a bad singer, but she's a hypocrite as well. Why are people still supporting her?

A Kid's Review

I'm 12 years old and a lot of people consider me too old for Hilary Duff, but I just love her songs. I'll admit it, she doesn't have a great voice. But when you listen to her songs, I mean really listen, they all have great messages that are really inspiring. And I know she doesn't write them on her own, but I really can't imagine anyone else singing them. Her voice fits all her songs very well.

I do think she shouldn't have done a greatest hits cd already. 2 Cds doesn't really give you much to choose from, and I don't really agree with the songs she picked, but I'm okay with it, all her songs are pretty good. I think it's great for Hilary. At first I was with everyone else saying she only got a record deal because of her acting abilities, but she's really stepped up to the plate and is becoming many little girls favorite actress AND singer. She's joining the ranks with Jennifer Lopez, Raven and Lindsay Lohan in the double performance category.

Love it.
