Hands down, this is one of the best CD's for renewal and relaxation. If your mind is filled with thoughts and you want to clear them, play this CD. I wish I could find more CD's by Craid Pruess with Ananda (the voice on this CD). Truly one of the best healing sounds available.

This was part of a Tony Robbins seminar I attended, and when used correctly can be so powerful! I love the healing sounds, it is soooo relaxing and calming to listen to.

I can only echo the comments in the reviews so far published.
Sound has a profound effect on our well-being - either way.
Any one with an open Heart will derive pleasure from these sounds.
In the beginning was The Word. The word here is that these chants are soothing, energising and most pure - a gracious Gift from the Divine Mother.

This is a beautiful CD. The seller was fantastic, too, and even gift wrapped the purchase.

I use this CD as a gentle and soothing part of my meditation practice. I think the names of the Divine Mother are in Sanskirt. Since I don't know the words, I cannot sing along with it. Instead, I must allow the music to sing to my spirit rather than my conscious thoughts. The sustained mono-chord keeps distractions to a minimum. Being a musician, I would try to analyze the chord progression otherwise. I love the Divine Mother and this music helps me feel her presence.

Simply divine. it transforms my thoughts.

I have not been able to find any other eastern chant/spiritual music which comes close to having the calming effects that this does... and I'm super high-strung!

From one who has lived in India and steeped herself in the Yogic and Vedic traditions, this recording is one of the best of its kind. The vocals are exquisitely beautiful. The instrumental is equally beautiful and meditative. One can use this for devotional practices, chanting, meditation, or simply relaxation. I love using it to send me into a blissful sleep. I never grow tired of it. It evokes "shanti" peace of mind.

Great music for a soothing and relaxing ambiance. You can listen to it again and again, without tiring. I recommend it!

The first time I heard this in my yoga class, I knew I needed to find it! This is the best thing going. I even brought it to school and play it during rest time and the kids crash! I suggest NOT playing it while driving because it's usually not the best idea to go into a deep meditation while driving. My recommendation...GET IT NOW!!!
