The perfect gift for a child you has a blended family. This product is not available at retail stores, which is a shame, since there are many families that have cousins, aunts and uncles that are not white. Good play value for teaching kids to play alongside others of different races.

I bought this set for my 3-year-old granddaughter to go along with the Fisher Price Loving Family Twin Time dollhouse and the Caucasian doll set we already have. She is of blended heritage and I want her to see the real world reflected in the toys she plays with. These are slimmer dolls than the older Fisher Price sets made in the early 90's, but they are easy for my granddaughter to manipulate and to make stand up. These have articulated knees unlike the earlier dolls also. We think the hair and faces of these dolls are adorable too. I have not seen these in any store. Getting six dolls and a great teaching tool for this low price is a great value in my book. You can't go wrong here.

My daughter enjoys playing the the family as much as she enjoys the Twin Time Dollhouse!! The dolls have realistic hairstyles and features. She rarely leaves the house without the "Daddy" doll. This family reflects my daughter's own family. I love that she has dolls that are reflective of her own life. Thank you Fisher Price!! I look forward to African American Grandparents and friends!!

I bought this extra family for my niece because I knew she'd have a lot of fun with more people. I'm glad I did because I really like the hair on the mom and girl and the African American baby girl is even cuter than the Caucasion one. The only thing I don't really like is that the boy looks almost the same as the one we already have, just a different skin color. It would have been nice to at least get a different number on his jersey. I don't think this bothers the kids though. Overall, I think these people are very cute and I'm glad I got them.

My daughter loved to play with African American dolls for a change. The only problem is that these dolls are not for the Loving Family Sweet Sounds Dollhouse. The Sweetsounds dollhouse dolls (the Caucasian ones) all have hearts on their back to activate the different sounds in the house...the African Americans do not. So, if you want to have Black dolls this is fine but its not for the Sweet Sounds Dollhouse.

this is a great toy. we are using the family in a doll house and my kids love them. i especially like the babywearing aspect. this is often hard to find and is the main reason I purchased this product.

Fisher Price makes the most beautiful African American families. I own several of their older sets that I use in my 1/12 scale dollhouses. I came across these by accident and had to have them, but the price is not what I expected for Amazon. I went directly to the Fisher Price site and ordered the complete set for $26 including shipping. I cannot wait for these dolls to arrive!

This is an excellent family to help teach the older toddlers how family life is different. Children really like this family in our preschool. Good delivery.

I frequently use these dolls in play therapy; kids love use them to act out situations. The dolls are well-constructed and perfectly sized. I was also glad to see a toy that promotes baby wearing! Because they're expensive, I would recommend supplementing them with Ty Lil Ones, if you need more young girl dolls that are a similar size and quality.

Great toys for language learning play, children through adults! They last a long time and are a great family set!
