Children will be delighted to sing and play with Barney in "Barney Rhymes With Mother Goose". Mother Goose needs help because a bookworm has eaten the pages of her book! 3.0 out of 5 stars not as good as the rest, April 25, 2000

This review is from: Mother Goose [VHS] (VHS Tape)
My son loves all Barney videos, but this one did not hold his attention at all. The rhythms might be great for some children, but my child wants to sing. When we put this video in, he asks for his other Barney videos.

My son loves this video and I have it memorized. It's a great way to introduce Mother Goose rhymes to a small toddler because of the music and the movements. I'm buying another one so that while I'm rewinding the first one, I can pop in the second. He loves the children and the little skits they do to each of the rhymes, and they include several that most people forget.

4.0 out of 5 stars Mother Goose is the best!, April 3, 1999

This review is from: Mother Goose [VHS] (VHS Tape)
Yes, video fans, Mother Goose IS the best, even though her name is not mentioned in the cast list. It's Sandy Walper, and she's a natural. She does a great job intermingling with Barney and the kids, and she brings a refreshing flexibility to the series.
