Creative designs based on T. Arnold illustrations
The previous reviewer missed the whole point of this book. It is a collection of cross stitch patterns, made to delight children and their families, not a reader! I have made many of these designs, personalizing them for the gift recipient. Great book for sharing with the kids! Adorable illustrations by Tedd Arnold, creator of Fly Guy and Huggly. Be careful though, this is not the book with the stitch patterns included. I didn't know there were two different copies until I received this one. I'll give this one to my Grandaughter.

The previous reviewer missed the whole point of this book. It is a collection of cross stitch patterns, made to delight children and their families, not a reader! I have made many of these designs, personalizing them for the gift recipient. The shading and detail far outshines most patterns available and the finished pieces are a work of art in their own right. I highly recommend this book for those who enjoy stitching gifts or for their own remembrances. I have adapted many patterns to other uses, and it is a source of constant inspiration. Too bad there aren't more books like this.
