This review is from: The Mother Machine: Reproductive Technologies from Artificial Insemination to Artificial Wombs (Paperback)
Gena Corea is a prolific radical feminist thinker whose caustic work can be categorized as polemic to the male status quo especially regarding healthcare and more particularly reproductive technologies. She is a breath of fresh air in a system that claims to, but dares not think of women as equal members of society. Corea unveils the social biases that surround reproduction and her contribution is a direct attack on sexism. Her writings led to the inspiration and completion of my graduate thesis. For that, I thank her. Thank you for your time.
