This man could not write a paragraph which didn't captivate its reader, June 2, 2006
This review is from: And Mother Makes Thirteen (Hardcover)
Although I picked this book up as a curiosity, to see how a physician with more publications that some university departments produce would write in a pure fiction media. I was very plesently suprised, all of the wit and intellect which Klawans employed in his scientific books was equally captivating and lucidly organized. The story its self is very novel and hard to put down, one that's best to be totally niave to, as any knowledge of the plot diminishes the experience of reading the lead in's. The only thing that bothered me after reading this book and his others on neurology is that there will be no further due to his premature dealth. Do yourself a favour and pick this one up... agood story and good for the brain too.
