Well....can we all say PATHETIC??
First of all, this movie was sponsored by power plants. They promote the idea of powerplants, and I quote, "Power plants provide a wonderful habitat for manatees, providing natural heat." NOT NATURAL!!!!
And if you want to see orcas, DON'T rent this-this isn't about orcas. And even if it was....they clearly don't know anything. Go rent Killer Beauties or even Free Willy will tell you more! (sad really)
Just in case you don't believe us about this movie, here's some of the wonderful facts you can learn from it: 1)Orcas are crazy predators with nothing more than an appetite. No wait, they're nice. No wait, they're not. 2)Orcas could live where the manatees live. They don't, but they COULD. 3) Baby manatees are ACTUALLY baby mermaids. 4) The biggest threat to orcas is logging-forget aquariums, driftnets, angry fishermen, whale-watching boat crowding and of course PCBs! 5) And manatees really like humans! When they see them, everyone has a 'jolly good time'!
So this is a warning: DONT WATCH THIS VIDEO! And even though they make it kid-friendly, its also a little....dumbed down, shall we say? Kids will understand this (except when the lady gets all weirdly poetic and randomly rhymes occasionally), but they'll be learning the wrong facts. Educate them about our natural world SOME OTHER WAY!!
You have been warned.
And just to say, we actually wanted to rate this -1000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 stars but it wouldn't let us. :(
