This book is very good! This book has some very good ideas to celebrate the incoming life-to-be. It is pagan-based, and rather on the "hippy" side of things. The biggest boon is the pages instructing on how to make the belly-cast.

I was looking for a comprehensive guide to planning my first in depth blessingway ceremony for my dearest friend and this book sealed the deal. I used it like a bible for planning the ceremony and it helped me to keep all my supplies, logistics and planning extremely organized. It also offered fantastic background on why we practice ritual ceremony, sitting in circles, the importance and sacredness of the four directions, the Divine, why blessingways matter and so much more. I highly recommend this book, even if you aren't planning a blessingway - it can be useful for any women centered activities!
