Having devoured every page of the Harrisons' Mother to Daughter book, I was eager to discover what wisdom lay in their newest volume. I wasn't disappointed! Again, this little gem is filled with wise counsel -- this time for mothers of boys of any age. The authors' economy of words, their humor and insight, is never cliche. I recognized myself and my own sons in its pages and appreciate the opportunity to better prepare for our oldest son's new adventure in college. It's great reading for "taxi-ing" times -- I carry my copy in my car -- and is a wonderful tool for opening dialogue with our sons. Fun to read and most profound, all in one terrific package!

This is a great book for any mom anywhere. Each page is filled with random words of wisdom that make you think. warm your heart. make you smile. make you realize things you maybe don't want to. Its fun, its a GREAT read !

I bought this book for myself and loved it.. it's so sweet and TRUE!!! I love going back and reading parts... I think this would be great as a gift as well

This was given to me by my husband as a stocking stuffer. I gave the Father to Son one to my husband while in the hospital after giving birth. I think these books are wonderful, and make a great gift for a new parent. Some words of wisdom will make you cry (blame it on the hormones), and others will make you laugh. I'm going to give these books to any new parent I know.

I saw this book in a gift shop while on vacation and purchased it for my nearly-due sister-in-law. I loved it so much, that I returned to amazon when I got home and bought a copy for myself. Its a "must have" for mothers of little boys. A nice reminder of the important things, sure to bring a smile to your lips!

My husband bought the Father to Son book the week our son was born, and we've both enjoyed it.
Seeing this on the bookstore shelf last month I realized I needed this for additional private heart-felt smiles in my life.
(son: currently 11 months old & we're hoping he gets a younger sibling soon)

This book helps me treasure those mommy-hug moments and reassure myself that working outside the house is ok, our family experiences joy & love, and we can strengthen each other if we focus on it!

I LOVE this book and keep it on my nightstand. It always puts a smile on my face and fills my heart with love for my little guy!

Great little gift book for mothers expecting a son!

Thats how I came across this book, however it was my wife, not me that received it as a gift the day before our son was born, alot of very good, thoughtful one line advice!

Can't wait to give this book to a friend / family member expecting their 1st son.

Looking forward to reading more of these little books by The Harrisons.

I did not care for this at all. Did not realize what it was just a book of quotes.

Words like "marvelous," "remarkable," "wonderful," "astounding," "incredible," don't even begin to describe this great book. It really touched home. A must read for every mother or son.
