I originally purchased this book for a school report my daughter was writing on "a famous woman". However, I think I enjoyed the book just as much as she did. The book uses simple language and short sentences, making it accessible to young audiences. However, it also contains tremendous detail about Mother Teresa's early life and inspiration for the great works she later became famous for.The only thing I would criticize about this book is that the binding is a little flimsy. However, for the price, I still think it is an excellent value.

I picked up a few Biographies to read to my daughter who is 5 years old. I purchased Rookie & DK. Both are excellent. However, the DK is for older kids. Rookie biography has big pictures & simple words for a 5 year old to read. This is her favorite book. She knows all about Mother Teresa now & is inquisitive to find out more. I would highly recommend this autobiography series.
