Demand is in her area of specialization, medicine, and into the more general field of women and motherhood. Strong use of ancient evidence and knowledge of medicine itself, help make this book a must read for those interested in women, motherhood, or medicine in the ancient world. More time spent on women's view of medicine might improve but such information is scarse. Not written for the layperson or undergraduate.
