Just met this author over the weekend at a conference. Very approachable, and brilliant. Picked up this book, and have started to read it - haven't finished it yet, but I will say it is a very approachable read, not too "scholarly" for lack of a better word - it is well written, yet approachable for the average student or reader. I would highly recommend this for any mothers (or new mothers) that start to question the structure in our society for motherhood and women. It was so nice to meet you, Amber!

This is a short but comprehensive book that connects between feminism and motherhood. it reflects the idea of maturing of Feminism. A mother can be a feminist. it is very good at connecting the idea of feminism and motherhood. The writer is impressive. I look forward to reading her next books. I recommend buying and reading this book. It is an investment for women and men.
