I had a lot of trouble maintaining my milk supply when I went back to work with my first child. I spoke to doctors and nurses, and drank more fenugreek tea than I care to remember. Eventually I just gave up breastfeeding after 6 months because I never had enough.

For my second child, I started looking for help early, before she was even born. My daughter is now 4 months old (I have been back at work for almost 2 months), but I am keeping up (much better than last time) and she is eating 6 oz per feeding! She is off the growth charts, and is actually the size of an 8-9 month old. I take it at maintenance levels daily (1-2 doses) and increase when she goes through growth spurts. I noticed a definite decrease when I stopped taking it.

I definitely noticed an increase in my milk production after taking More Milk Plus for a few days. However, after about a week, my 3 month old started having a blotchy rash on her face which she was constantly scratching at with both hands. She also became very gassy and had green BMs. I can't say for sure it was due to this product, but it did gradually go away after I stopped taking it. I took Fenugreek capsules when nursing my son and he had no trouble, so I'm not sure whether my daughter is just supersensitive, or if it was one of the other ingredients that bothered her. Or just a coincidence.

I will say that just taking it for the couple weeks before she developed the rash, I have gone from being able to pump 3-4 ounces per session to 5-6 ounces and am now able to send enough milk with her to daycare without having to supplement with formula, even after I stopped taking it. This is probably partially due to increasing the number of pumping sessions on the weekends, but within a day of starting the supplements I noticed stronger letdowns that lasted longer and resulted in larger volumes, so I am pretty sure the supplement was having an effect.

So, I would definitely recommend More Milk Plus if it your baby isn't sensitive. The reaction she had was pretty mild and she might have tolerated it better if I had lowered the dose from the maximum (4 capsules a day). A lot of people reported success with as little as one capsule a day.

After doing some research and talking to a LC I decided to try this product w/ some reservations. I figured it was worth a try to boost my milk supply. It actually worked. I didn't see much of a difference taking 1 pill 4xs as per the instructions 1st recommendation, but I noticed a big difference after taking 2 pills 3xs a day (also per instructions). I did, however, quickly run out. I ordered a second bottle and found that my supply has re-established at a much higher production rate, and I didn't take any more of them. Also expect to be a little sweaty and to smell like maple syrup after its gotten into your system. The payoff was good and I would purchase them again if necessary.

I started using More Milk Plus capsules when my supply was running low at the end of every day. It seemed like when my daughter cluster fed in the evening, there was never enough and she would get grumpy.

I only had to use 1 capsule a day to increase my supply enough and she's always satisfied and sleeping through the night at 4 months. :)

It works. I did not take the recommended dosage. I took a much smaller amount because I only needed a boost to my supply, and it seemed to do the trick. I will order again.

I had high hopes for More Milk Plus since it contained a blend of herbs. I thought it would work better than fenugreek alone or a nursing tea. This was not the case. I think More Milk Plus is overpriced. I got better results from either fenugreek alone (2-3 caps 3 times a day) or Yogi Nursing Mother's tea (3 cups a day). And they are cheaper. I will not repurchase More Milk Plus. After talking to other nursing mom's in a local breastfeeding group we have come to the conclusion that More Milk Plus works better for skinny moms that weigh less than 150lbs. For those of us who weigh more, and thus take the higher does, we did not see the results.

This product actually does seem to work. I was worried about my supply dwindling when I went back to work and was only able to pump once per shift (on my lunch break), but after taking this I was able to keep up my supple and keep up with my baby girl on my days off:) Thanks!

i had been fasting and under other conditions my milk began to dwindle significantly. i decided to try this upon another moms recommendation i read on amazons medela pump recommending the supplement.

it has worked well for me, i am around 185#. i started with low dosing @ 1 pill/day and liked that it increased my milk so significantly but my baby began drinking it all too, and i wanted to pump for the transition to day care. i tried 2/day and that provides him and me enough to be happy. it does go thru quickly; recommended dose is 4-8 pills/day which isn't necessary for me.

i notice nothing different for my child, no rashes. he is thriving. i just ordered 2 more bottles at lower prices, make sure you shop around and look into the tip about contacting the manufacturer directly if you are going to pop 8 pills/day.

Well I used this to get my milk supply back after an illness. First 3 days, you will have stomach pains, least I did. I did get some milk back, nothing big, but there was extra milk. Not sure if I would buy it again though.

This was a godsend gift because my milk production was low due to limited sleep and working. Well I was able to breastfeed my baby until 11 months with this supplement.
