With both of my pregnancies, I have had difficulty producing enough milk for my babies. With my first pregnancy, after experiencing some negative reactions to the medicated pills the hospital gives to increase production, I was told to try the herbal Fenugreek pills. While these pills helped a little (I mean a little), they also made me and my baby smell like maple syrup for as long as I took them.



I just had my second child in April and this hospital recommended More Milk Plus to me after I was having production problems again (due to a hormone imbalance). I have been using these pills for 2 months now and they are great! Not only have they assisted me with being able to produce enough for my baby's needs, it has even increased my production enough to be able to pump and actually store some milk for later feedings. This product is excellent for those women struggling with not producing enough milk. I highly recommend it.

I had high hopes for More Milk Plus since it contained a blend of herbs. I thought it would work better than fenugreek alone or a nursing tea. This was not the case. I think More Milk Plus is overpriced. I got better results from either fenugreek alone (2-3 caps 3 times a day) or Yogi Nursing Mother's tea (3 cups a day). And they are cheaper. I will not repurchase More Milk Plus. After talking to other nursing mom's in a local breastfeeding group we have come to the conclusion that More Milk Plus works better for skinny moms that weigh less than 150lbs. For those of us who weigh more, and thus take the higher does, we did not see the results.

I heard about this product from my lactation consultant. I returned to work 4 weeks ago when my baby was 8 weeks old. He's eating 4 oz of milk when I'm away from him...and I was only able to pump 2.5 ounces at work each time. I started these about a week ago, and on I'm now able to pump between 3-4 ounces each time. It is helping me keep up with him. The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is because I was hoping I would be able to pump extra...but I'm still satisfied with any increase! It is kind of pricy too--but I figure it's still cheaper than buying formula and my milk is the best for my baby :)

I stared to have milk production problems when my baby was only 2 weeks. I took the mother love tea for a couple weeks and it did not work at all, then I started taking fenugreek alone and pumping several times a day for at least 20 min at a time and I just wasn't able to increase my production. My son's daily consumption of formula increased from 1 oz to about 15 oz a day; then I decided to try this product and I began to notice a difference in about a week after starting it, my son began to take less and less formula and now he is a fully breastfeed baby; I have been on the pills for a little under 3 months and I'm still nursing, my baby just had his 4 month check up and he is on the 98th percentile for both height and weight. I'm a very proud mom and I recommend this product to any struggling mom that really has the desire breastfeed.
More milk plus is worth the price for my family!

First time mom. I was having trouble producing enough milk so I purchased More Milk Plus with high hopes and I was quickly disappointed. I also found the dosage instructions to be quite inconvenient: You can't drink water 20 minutes before or 20 minutes after you take the pills (you can only swallow them with no more than 2 oz of water) and if you are over 175 pounds you have to take two pills 3 times a day and if you are under 175 then its 1 pill 4 times a day. It's a lot of work keeping track of taking them so often on top making sure you didn't drink fluids before and after each dosage especially when you have a baby to care for 24/7. Motherlove's other products like the nipple cream, belly salve and perinea massage/baby massage oil is great so I do recommend those products.

1st Step Breast Milk supplements worked best for me and they can be found at Walgreens for $15, they increased my supply about 30-40% within a few days and its only 2 pills daily, no liquid restrictions. Less expensive and worked MUCH better than More Milk Plus.

I have used this product for all 3 of my babies whenever my milk supply was dwindling, and
it worked amazingly. Thing is, you have to do other things in your life that produce milk too-
like, eat enough (you start dieting, and your milk production plummets), eating the right food-
sweet potatoes & chicago style pizza worked for me, drink enough water, sleep enough (try to sleep whenever
baby's sleeping) and nurse your baby around the clock!! The more you nurse, the more milk you will make,
particularly when you are taking these. I was so happy to have stumbled upon them after I had my 1st and
she was 6 months old, and the milk started easing up. The only reason I have ever quit nursing any of my kids is
because I was too pregnant with the next one to continue. (I am pregnant with the 4th right now, and plan to
nurse that one as long as he/she will go). I hope this works for you too, whoever made it was a genius. :)

I tried this per directions on the label with no success. Even contacted them for tips, which they provided (not much different than what i was doing, increased by one pill a day) with still no luck. Good news is that they offer full refunds if it doesn't work, so i would still give it a shot based on the luck that others have had with it.

I exclusively pump for my son, so I am always aware of exactly how much milk I am producing. Things were going along just fine until I had to have surgery when he was 3 months old. Within a few days of the procedure my supply dropped down to the point that I had to begin supplementing with formula. There were times when I could go an entire afternoon unable to produce anything. I was devastated and afraid that this would be the end of breastfeeding for me. I contacted a lactation consultant who recommended More Milk Plus. I was skeptical, but began taking the pills 4 times a day as recommended. I also increased my pumping sessions to 7 times per day, 2 times per night. Within several days I was able to stop supplementing with formula. I kept track of how much milk I was producing with the pills, and within one week my supply increased by 7+ ounces per day. Now, three weeks later, I am producing an extra 12+ ounces per day. I am so thankful to have gone from having to supplement to now being able to freeze multiple extra portions of milk every day. I will continue to take these pills for the rest of my breastfeeding experience and I definitely recommend them to anyone wishing to increase their supply!

This is a must have. I had my baby aug of 2010 and I struggled with low production for 2 and a half months to no avail I was forced to formula which I hate personally. I talked to a lactation consultat and she recommeded more milk plus (this after trying feenugreek, milk mothers tea and a few others) more milk plus worked immediatley. Before I may have gotten 2 to 3 oz. Now I'm up to 5 to 10 oz. Amazing. Love this product. It worked for me hope it works for u too.

I'm so happy to have found this herbal supplement to increase milk production. While working full time and trying to feed a 5 month old, I noticed that I could pump about 65% of what my child needed. I tried so many things for months to increase my supply. That includes oatmeal, fenugreek pills, mother's milk tea, and lactation cookies -- none of these worked as quickly or effectively as Motherlove's More Milk Plus. After 2 days (and finally taking the dosages as instructed) I was able to get 30% increase over my 3 pumping sessions. I'll continue to take these pills for another few months. They are worth the price! This product will help me breastfeed and pump longer. Thank you Motherlove!
