The braided wire from which the fibers extend are too exposed. When I use the brush in the tight spaces of my wheels, the metal wire rubs against the surface. Also, the fibers come off pretty easily. I stopped using the brush before it scratched my wheels. If you don't have narrow spaces you'd use this brush in, it's probably fine. If you do, you might not like it.

Ya, this one is pretty bad. The bristles started to come off, not enough protection before the metal wires. I'm save mine for inner cleaning of the exhaust tip.

One of the worst parts of washing the car is cleaning the rims. I hate trying to get into all the openings. I have all chroe rims and this brush allows me to get into all the open spaces; bristles are soft enough to clean without scratching the rim.

Straightforward: they do the job they were set out to do. They do loose the bristles pretty easy. These are used on chrome rims and it makes the cleaning process even easier! Perfect! Another great Mother's product!

It cleaned my wheels well initially, but then it began to scratch them. That is a deal breaker to me. I could deal with the bristles falling out but scratches in my rims put this thing straight in the garbage can.

I read a bunch of reviews about how this didn't scratch wheels. Maybe my wheels are just cheaply painted from the factory but they did scratch using this tool to clean off brake dust.

Only one use the brush is already deformed to a point where it is not very effective. I give it a 2 stars b/c it does do it's job when new. It is just not very durable.

Seems like a well made brush, but it turned out to be too thick to fit into the split spoke design of my wheels. The search continues for a thinner brush.

Does the job but I'd like it to be a little softer on the brush and of a sturdy construction as it bends very easily.

I think I used it twice and then into the trash it went. Not good for nice wheels as the metal stem is too exposed and I worried about it scratching the wheels. Also started rusting immediately. And too short to reach back into a deep wheel. A mitt and my hand worked better. :-(
