This CD is wonderful. The way she sings these songs just go right to the heart. Track #3 Lola Sofia and track #6 Heaven are just absolutly lovely and catchy melodies too. Wonderful, Wonderful album !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm a diehard Wilspn Phillips fan so my opinion may well be biassed. But the point is: I was blown away by this CD!!! I'm buying a copy for al my "mother" friends for next mother's day... On the first listen, I loved all the classics, but the original stuff is realy good! Wendy and her husband wrote one of the best songs on the album. The vocals are top notch!!! Congrats Carnie... You've done it again. The pictures are so sweet!!! Lola's a beauty (looks just like Rob) PS. CAN'T WAIT FOR A NEW WP ALBUM!!!

This is a Spectacular Lullabye CD! I am a huge Beach Boys Fan and especially Brian Wilson Fan! He & Carnie sing beautiful together, I would love to hear more. Carnie sings Forever, (one of my favorite songs that Dennis sings) Her calming and soothing voice brought tears to my eyes with this one! Great Job Carnie! Your Lola Sofia is BEAUTIFUL!!

I bought this primarily because I'm a huge Brian Wilson fan and I wanted to hear him and Carnie sing together. They do a great job on "You Are So Beautiful", the song that Dennis Wilson used to sing at Beach Boys concerts. Brian sounds as good here as he has anywhere recently, which is saying a lot. His vocals since 2004's release of "SMiLE" have been excellent.

At first listen I enjoyed the classic songs like "Over The Rainbow" and "Wonderful World" the most, but the original songs are quickly growing on me. Carnie's voice is soft and soothing with a Karen Carpenter quality to it.

I'm giving a copy to my grandchildren. Meanwhile, it's a relaxing and pleasant listen.

I'm a first time mom and I can't listen to this CD without tears. It's just wonderful -- esp the song "Lola Sofia." It's part of my baby's night-time routine and we all just love it.

Simply put, this is a beautiful CD. Makes you want to lay down and relax.

This is quite a lovely cd. You can tell this is a labour (excuse the pun) of love. Even though I'm not yet a mother, I absolutely love Carnies voice so I had to scoop this up. I've always loved Wilson Phillips as a group and I knew that Carnie would pull off as good a solo effort.
Her voice is stunning and soft and soothing and very appropriate for babies to quiet down to. She's done some great songs on here and even written some new ones with her hubby. I love the classics and I really enjoy You Are So Beautiful, Lola Sofia and Over The Rainbow. The only song I'm struggling to come to grips with and get used to is Love Me Tender. Yes in fact it is the same Love Me Tender that Elvis did but she's 'made it her own'. Other than that, the songs are lovely and she's done a great first solo cd. This is a great gift idea for your friends or even if you yourself are finding it hard to drift off at night. It's relaxing and enjoyable.

a mix of classic songs and some original ones. very touching lyrics, relaxing without being boring.

this is a great cd for baby girls. I say it's for girls because there is a track "lola sophia" which is a song written for a baby girl. Carnie sings with a wonderful soft dreamy voice. The songs are easy to sing to, which makes my baby happy to have mommy sing to her. Some songs are originals, some are covers, but all are great. Good break from classical music. this CD is currently playing softly on repeat 24 hours in my baby's room. I highly recommend this. Makes a great gift.

Ok, I know if you came to this album, you're probably a fan of Carnie and her music. To be honest I wasn't. After siting down and really listening to the music, I started to like it, and eventually loving it. Her rendition of "Over the Rainbow" and "You Are So Beautiful" are really really good. Brian Wilson really surprises me his performance. He still has it.
