This book helped me keep my sense of humor at Thanksgiving, and I know it will help at Christmas too. Now all I need is a brown paper wrapper to hide it from my husband! I couldn't stop laughing.

This is an excellent guide to the behavior of Mothers in laws and should be required reading for Sons-in-laws everywhere!!

If you have a mother-in-law coming for the holidays, just remember - laughter is the BEST medicine! While you will want to hide this book away with your Godiva chocolates to enjoy when you are ALONE, it will keep you laughing and ready to face any MILDEW buildup which may occur! This book is truly fabulous, and will keep you smiling - no matter what mother-in-law situations may come your way!

I disagree with the "downer" reviews. After reading the whole book it seems like those who don't "get it" must be mildew. If you've ever had even a couple of the experiences in the book happen to you or if you answer yes to just a few of the quiz questions, you'll relate and have a really good laugh. And it's a hoot to share with your girlfriends. It got us swapping stories and laughing our heads off.

I laugh every week watching Everybody Loves Raymond, but not as much as I did when I read your book! It seems like you know my MILDEW personally. It was truly funny. You've captured the essence of MILDEWs, while maintaining a sense of humor about it. It's good to know that others are suffering thru the same issues that I am...and laughing about it. Thanks!

I think the MILDEW acronym is hysterical! And the mildew references (It Spreads Like a Fungus... and talking about the "spread" of mildew) had me laughing out loud. I could relate to so many of the stories--I was laughing and cringing all at the same time. So glad to know I'm not alone!

JUST READ 'MILDEW', your clever and truly funny book from cover to cover. Congratulations! I laughed myself sick! It's about time that someone gathered stories that many of us have experienced first hand.
What an ideal gift for every bride or bride-to-be.

This book is definately not a self help book. I frankly found it humorus to read some of these other women's stories. If you're looking for something to improve your relationship, this isn't the book. If you looking for something kind of funny to laugh at all the silly things other people's MILDEW do, this is. I think it would make a fantastic gift for a wedding shower or bachelorette party.

This book really tickles your funnybone! The stories either made me laugh or think "omigosh!"--several really hit home. I loved the way the stories were categorized and I thought the use of proverbs and old sayings was really clever. A quick read. It made my day!!
