No, I'm not a new mother and don't expect to be one; I did buy this little book for someone who will be though. Mrs.Spudman took an immediate liking to this book, a gift for our daughter. We like the natural flow of the book and its wealth of advice given in a non-concescending way. New Mother's Survival Guide is packed with lists of things to do, things to buy, and people to lean on. It's a common sense tome by a mother of four children accentuated with some marvelous photographs. The book won't serve as one's only source of new mother information, but it's a good starting point.
