If you are having trouble with the footrest flipping up, call the company's 800 number. They heve redesigned the sling to correct this problem, and will ship you a new model for free! Our replacement arrived in just a few days, and works great.

With the mesh bottom of this bath product, I was able to bathe my baby, and not have her lying in dirty water. The water just runs right through it. It's small enough to hold the smallest baby, and sturdy enough to last even after the baby is 6-7 months old. (or old enough to sit on his/her own)

This is my baby shower gift of choice now! We just love it!

After reading the reviews for this product - I felt I needed to share what a great product I think it is. I was lucky enough to receive the bather as a shower gift. As a new mom, I didn't really know what to expect. Since my daughter's birth we've traveled several thousand miles and I love the product. It fits nicely into any square sink and I've found it to be very sturdy. My daughter loves the feel of the mesh fabric and is very comfortable. I get to stand while bathing her instead of kneeling over a slippery tub which is much more comfortable for me. Since I'm standing, I feel that I have much more control over her during bathtime. The bather cleans easily and is quite compact for storage. I have three girlfriends and a sister who are expecting and I've recommended the bather to all of them.

After fighting w/baby bath tubs, I finally bought one of these so my daughter and I could get in the regular bath tub together. It is great! It's so lightweight, and she can spread out and be comfortable. I don't think it would work too well for a very small baby, but I started using it when my baby began holding her head up, and it has made bath time so much fun. I highly recommend getting one of these and throwing out the big bulky inconvenient plastic tub!

This bath tub "holder" is great. I had one of the bulkier ones before this and the bar that is supposed to hold baby in securely came right between her legs (looked very uncomfortable) and many of them are this way. I wanted to use the other one in my bathtub not as a sponge bath-they probably work better in those instances. That bar made it impossible to clean her bottom half- I dreaded bathtime until I got this bath holder. As far as the footrest popping up- I never had that problem but I can see why it may be happening-YOU HAVE TO firmly push down the footrest while on a flat surface and it clicks into place-it feels like you are going to break it-but you won't. Hope this helps.

For our newborn daughter, we tried hard plastic tubs and giant yellow sponges without success. Then we found this product. We love this chair. It folds flat to fit into a closet. Opens and stays open without a problem when clicked into place properly. And holds baby very nicely. I use it in the tub at our house and in the sink at Grandma's house ( she has a single large sink). I would stronly recommend this product. I'm getting it for freinds who are pregnant.

I love this item! I used it for the first time today and it's great! I was fussing around with baby bath tubs but you need to line the tub with a towel so your baby doesn't slip even with the no slip padding.I decided to hop in the grown up tub with my baby after awhile and it was easier and baby seemed to enjoy bath time more but i was nervous because it could get a little slippery at times. Then i saw this and decided to give it a try. I'm still able to get in the tub with my baby and he is all smiles too. Hands down this is the best! It's portable, light weight, and very sturdy. My only regret is that i didn't buy it sooner.

This baby bather is very convient to use and travel with. I love how fast it dries and that it doesn't grow mold or mildew. We used this product for about 5 or 6 months and it still looks brand new. Unfortunately, it didn't fit well in my kitchen sink so I used it in the tub. My son started trying to roll over in it before I was comfortable with putting him in a bath seat so it would've been great if it had a small strap in the front to help hold the baby in. This bather is much better than the original bath slings, which my first daughter kept sliding down the front of :o).

They really almost had a perfect tub. Althought you have to fill your regular tub up with water, that would not have botherd me if the product would have worked. It would have been the perfect tub if they would have tested their product! When baby is put into the mesh tub the footrest unsnaps and folds upward, so I had to hold the footrest down while she bathed, which is very unfortunate because every other thing about the mesh tub was great, it was soft, she sat well in it etc. To bad!

I am a first time mom and have never used another bather for my two and a half month old. It's easy to store, dries fast, and my baby seems very comfy in it. It fits nicely in my sink and its mesh fabric allows water to flow through. After reading other reviews, I want to try it in the bath with me and see how baby and I like it!
