For some reason this CD really reminds me of the soundtrack to 'The Hitcher', at times. It is a very isolated, deep, eerie and moving experience by Maitreya. They have captured the mood from diffrent aspects of life and places. I feel very uneasy when sitting alone in a dark room with this CD on, but it's a feeling I love when I'm in the mood for this kind of music. I would highly recommend this to anyone who likes a bit dark & moody atmosphere when they are all alone in their own thoughts. Buy It!!

The music on this CD seems inspired by that unseen force that we all know we have deep within our psyche. The pieces on this disc are gorgeous ever changing (using the classical form) tone poems that seem to be well thought out, meticulously written. The music is very pleasing and has an almost natural calming effect that can make one peer deep into oneself and make one realize that life itself is such a blessing. I come from the classical school and I can say that this music is one of the best space music suites I have ever listened too. The music is beautiful and at the same time crossing the border to high strangeness very much reminding me of the early modal style of film composer Mario Nascimbene and even employing a French Impressionistic touch of Debussy's mysticism. I also notice a serious touch of Solitaire and Alpha Flight in the mix and not to mention John Serrie. And yes, I am also reminded of the soundtrack to ''The Hitcher'', Perhaps a coincidence, I do not know. This music will definitely stay with you and I predict that this CD will become a landmark recording, A space music classic. Not to be missed.

Incredible ambience! Very deep and atmospheric. Sometimes the music is grande, welcoming, warm and other times it can be cold, dark and mysterious. It's an excellent ride. All 3 of Maitreyas' CDs' are highly recommended. They all have the same good qualities and mix of textures and atmospheres. This type of music reminds me of a movie soundtrack played in the background. It can draw you in and make you think or cause you to drift away while relaxing, ponder some thoughts or stir up different emotions.

The recording is excellent. I would suggest buying the CD. MP3s' take away much of the spacial qualities of ambient music creating a narrower, harsher sound field.
