The Isle Of Wight’s Motion Pictures (formerly known as The Live Ambient Workshop) with their re-definition of lo-fi sonics! The four piece is drawing influences from classic 60s pop (Byrds, Kinks, Beatles), folk (Neil Young), early Pink Floyd and obscure Norwegian jazz.

A mélange of sweet and melancholy psychedelic folk "rock" fitting somewhere, loosely, between the charming, lovelorn lyrics of the Reindeer Section and the patchouli phantasm of Jefferson Airplane. At ten tracks, however, the journey falls a bit short, conjuring a mere pink fog instead of some rare odyssey. But given such a spacious muse, wielding weird background noises and lush melodies so fluently, these lads might be gods someday.
