This book tells you why and how people respond to marketing. Using lots of examples and giving the reader lots of food for thought-- this book is a must for anyone in sales and marketing. The delivery method for marketing is constantly changing-- but the emotional level has always remained the same: Fear, Love, Freebies, Moneymaking and Making Dreams Come True...

If you are a small business owner, you are in marketing and sales. Motivational Marketing by Robert Imbriale provides a good look at the marketing part of your business.

One of the most difficult attitude shifts women small business owners must make is to understand that marketing and advertising is not about them or their product. It's about their customers. If they want other people to pay attention, they have to talk about things that are important to their prospects. Imbriale covers five important emotional motivators that universally work in engaging your prospective customers. If you only read the first eight chapters of this book, it is worth your while.

Women entrepreneurs don't like to market or sell in general. Motivational Marketing gives tools to get started writing better copy for your web site, your newsletters and emails without resorting to paying a copywriter, which can cost thousands of dollars.

My only caution with this book is that it talks about techniques that have been developed and used by internet marketing businesses for several years now. Sites developed by these business owners, primarily men, tend to look alike. Is it time for women to develop our own style on the Internet?

I implemented some of the ideas from this book into my live sales presentation that I've been giving to good results for years now, and sales immediately doubled. No other guide, book, or idea has ever boosted my response like that. Ever.

But what I like best is that my audiences responded more warmly to my presentations and thanked me more profusely than ever before for introducing them to the products I presented. All because I helped them FEEL what they wanted to feel rather than help them THINK like I wanted them to think.

I've been in sales and marketing all of my adult life, and have read dozens of books on marketing. I can't say that this book broke new ground in marketing theory or techniques, but I CAN say that it provided me with a new way of thinking about my presentation and marketing that made a huge difference.

So that's why I am now a RAVING FAN of Robert Imbriale and Motivational Marketing.

When I started to read this book, I had a feeling there wasn't too much news in it. Some 20 pages further, I become more enthousiast and 10 more pages I said loud 'Yes'! It's simple, it's to the point and above all: it's a honest, helpful book. There are lots of simple but very practical tips. I felt very motivated and I surelly do recommend this book. I got the clue that if some business doesn't prosper sometimes, it's not because of it's quality but because of the poor quality of the marketing. I wish I had this book 10 years ago when I was plodding through my own marketing.

Pick up any marketing book and you will find a variation on this theme: "People buy based on emotion and justify their decisions with logic." Internet sales guru Robert Imbriale explores this principle further by identifying the five primary "emotional motivators" that inspire people to make purchases: "fear, love, freebies and bargains, effortless moneymaking and making dreams come true." He then shows you how to use these emotional triggers in your marketing materials. Imbriale admonishes you not to miss the incredible marketing opportunities outlined in his book. He says everyone will love you when you become a success. Use these motivators correctly and you'll make more money than you ever dreamed possible, he asserts. He'll even give you a free e-book or a discount on his CDs to help you! So, yes, the author is a bit heavy-handed with his own marketing tactics. Nevertheless, getAbstract suggests that you can boost your sales by trying his simple, affordable, emotional techniques.

I heard him speak the week before his book came out and he had an advanced copy. At the break I made a beeline for that copy and immediately saw I had to get it. He knows a whole side of marketing that you never hear anyone talk about, which is the emotional element. He outlines the primary motivators and how you can apply them into your own marketing. From just glancing at the book, before I even bought it, I got 2 amazing ideas that I added to my website and I know it will make a big difference in the rate of response over time. You really need to learn what this author has to teach if you own your own business and are looking to expand. I spent $25,000 in 2005 on various advertising and it was a total waste of money. I wish I would have had this information at that time!!!!!

Motivational Marketing is much more than just another marketing book.

Robert Imbriale walks his talk, and the proven results he has continually

produced for himself and his clients over 20 years lets you know what he

tells you, you can take to the bank!

Motivational Marketing covers the marketing "Why To" as well as the how to.

My marketing library contains hundreds of the classic books all marketers study and follow everyday to produce profitable marketing in their business and client projects... but what Motivational Marketing focuses on is tapping into the buying emotions of your customers and prospective customers to create a stress free enjoyable buying proccess.

I know this book will save me time and money in my marketing efforts because now my customers and subscribers will be coming to the order form to buy, not to be sold.

When you first crack open this "Marketing Manual" you'll instantly understand what motivational marketing is all about, because it's almost impossible to not devour this book in one setting.(Get some sleep now)

This is the most eye opening and enjoyable marketing book I have ever had the pleasure reading.

An absolute must have for anyone in marketing or sales.

You can find on the Internet all what you want! Yes, for free!

This book is not exception...

This book is complete motivational marketing guide in ONE place.

So you just need to read it and implement what you have learned.

And on Internet you have to collect the information bit by bit. Often without REAL helpful "what to do next" advises and/or examples. And...

On Internet you can't be sure in authority of the author and his experience.

This is not so sexy as read a book with foreword from Den Kennedy (if you don't know him, you don't know anything about marketing)!

Think about all couches and business trainers? Do you think they teach people something "secret"? Are you sure that you can't find similar information to that they sell (their couching programs) for FREE on Internet?

I bet you CAN find on Internet information SIMILAR to EVERY book on Amazon! Every!

So Why I'm writing this?

Because I don't understand people like you (no offense), that give one star to a great book, only because they can find similar information on the Internet!

In nowadays we must rate not exclusivity of information in the book (because today information can't be exclusive - "thank you Internet"), but it usefulness and quality of it's presentation.

Hope this review would be useful for potential readers. I highly recommend this book!

Consistently producing useful and quality material. The book itself is a beautiful example of the marketing strategies Robert teaches and is full of bonus materials that are consistent with Robert's "value added" approach.
