This game is a fun and educational game about the stock market, and how it works. We totally took a chance on it because we like stock-like games. It's one of our favorites now. We love this game. It's simple enough that younger people can play, but it's still entertaining and challenging enough for adults to love it as well. If you can't decide... You should buy it!

4.0 out of 5 stars Good stock market game, February 24, 2011

Card driven, i.e. you know the distribution, stock market game. There are three stocks, oil very stable, retail in the middle, and tech which can go up and down the most. As I say since it is card driven, you know the distribution, you can use this info, along with the cards discarded face up and the other players stock markers ( indicators of the stocks they owned) to help you decide which cards to pay to influence how the stocks move, the pay out of each stock at the end of the round. Plays well with two, very well with 3, with 4 it is OK. Three players is the sweet spot. It is a short play game, 3 rounds in 30 minutes, which is good. This game would not work if long and involved. Typical Reiner Knizia game, simple, short, and sweet. The publisher is out of business so this has to be NOS, worth picking up as a light weight filler. If the card distribution bothers you, not sure why, poker, black jack has the same issues, try Owner's Choice by Z-Man Games. Yeah it is dice driven, I am no fan of dice games, but, this one works well, is a lot of fun. This game because of the cards, the information you have, is more thinking, then with the dice. You do get a lesson of supply and demand with this one.
