Good but Moto Gp2 was better,
= Fun:3.0 out of 5 stars

Moto Gp3 good but not as good as Moto Gp2 which was btter then Moto Gp1. Moto Gp1 was good at the time when first released. Then Moto Gp2 came out as was pretty much more of then same with some tweaks here and there. Moto Gp3 has the addition of street tracks. While there is nothing wrong with the concept, the reality is, the tracks at not as real to look at as those of the standard grass and tarmax tracks. So for me, Moto Gp3 represents a step backwards rather than forwards.
So, if you are looking for a bike game for your Xbox and not already own one, then your best bet is to pick up Moto Gp2. If you all readly own Moto Gp1 or Moto Gp2 then try Moto Gp3 before you buy. Moto Gp3 is a rental game only.

Tough to handle...,

I think the graphics are great and the framerate is very smooth...BUTTT...the bike's handling seems a bit too slow. So you have to be really careful around the corners. First-person camera view can be frustrating because it is more difficult to see the road way ahead of you so that you can prepare for a turn. Playing in first-person...is like riding downhills all the way. Third-person gives you a better view. I love the custom soundtrack option the beautiful backgrounds, but the slow bike handling (even after tweaking the settings) takes the fun away.

So far I'm liking this Moto GP 3 game pretty good, although for a 2005 game, the graphics are a little sub-par. They could have made things a bit shinier and brighter and sharper like so many games now. The graphics here are good enough and get the job done. But they could have at least rendered more that one dashboard view for all these different bikes, for instance. What a lack of effort. The gameplay experience, the steering and controls of this game along with the thrill of speeding around on cool bikes, would have been enhanced by sweeter graphical details. The control scheme is a bit complex and tricky, but that also is kind of fun and definitely makes racing this distinct from car racing games. There is a delicate balance of throttle and braking front and rear and shifting your weight via the Xbox controller. All these factors can be employed to greater and lesser degrees depending on how bad *ss your wanna be. (There is also a feature called "the beast" that just shows a kind of spinning multicolor visual effect in the options mode so you can listen to your sellected sountrack. Okay, whatever.) I recommend buying Moto GP 3 cheaply and I suggest using the master cheat code (try entering "L,U,L,L,B,U,L,L,D,U,B" at the white 'press start' screen).
