Moto Racer is a really cool game. It is the first racing game I have purchased. I am really impressed with the way the progam works. It is a really good game.

boy, i gotta say, this game is really exciting to play. i enjoy playing it all the time, and since I am a pro, i like to challenge my friends once in awhile online. it is a great game. if your looking for fast-paced action, and breath taking speed, buy this game. i totally recommend it, it is one of the greatest racing pc titles of ALL TIME! and it is a part of the Electronics Arts classic games, so go..go buy this great game! it's worth it!

When I first got this game, I admit, it WAS hard. Like any game, it gets alot easier with playing time. I've owned two "crotch rockets" myself since I've had this game and the pure thrill for speed is about the same, although riding in real life and in a game are of course drastically different.

Moto Racer offers more fun and speed for the buck than any other game I've owned or played. When you get into that First Person view and launch your front wheel into the air for the first time you truly get a sense of what you're in for. The bikes are hella fast and handle extremely well and the course's are equally well laid out. If you want an EXTREME arcade motorcycle racer look no further....YOU'VE FOUND IT!

This game worked perfectly, and I played it until my eyes got red! (just kidding). My favorite race is dirt arena. This is the most fun racing game I've ever played. It is easy to steer the motorcycle.

I've been playing the original MotoRacer™ for several years now, though not so much in recent days. I found it to be pretty challenging when I first started playing it, but as I got used to the track layouts, and I became comfortable with the particular types of bikes I'd use, I found the play to be less and less competitive. Even with the difficulty level set to its highest (Level 3, AKA `Hard'), and a field of myself and 23 competitors, I was usually able to pull ahead, stay ahead, and win fairly handily each time. Well, granted I didn't wipe out or bump into anything that'd slow me down, that is.

The only real challenge MotoRacer™ holds for me nowadays is in my attempts to set new personal lap-time and race-time records. I'm pretty sure I can't get my lap times down any faster than they already are, and the difference between my Top and Fifth-Best Race Times on all of the tracks (the computer records the five fastest times for each race) is about three seconds or less. Needless to say, it usually comes as a total surprise to me whenever I set new records in either of these categories.

Although MotoRacer™ does have eight different racing venues, it actually only offers four for a start. If you play the Gran Prix tour on Level Two, AKA `Medium', and manage 3rd place or better in each of the four races (any worse than 3rd, or you don't make it to a checkpoint in time, you're eliminated), two of the `hidden' four tracks will be made available for you to race. You can unlock the final two by doing the GP on the `Hard' setting.

Also unlocked after winning the `Medium'- and `Hard'-level GPs are the Reverse and Pocket modes, respectively. Choose the Reverse option and you'll be able to run the races on all the tracks in the opposite direction. The Pocket mode has you racing on smaller, `Pocket'-sized MotoBikes. Um, hence the name... yeah. Fortunately for me, racing in Pocket mode is still fairly challenging. These little buggers take forever to upshift to higher speeds, which can be especially time-consuming if it has a manual transmission! And any kinda bump, whether it's against another racer or a ground obstacle, will most likely send ya spillin'! Both of these little problems have cost me a significant amount of lap/race time and chances to advance in the GP.

If you don't feel up to takin' the GP tour as a start, you can choose to run practice laps on any of the courses (the `hidden' four must be unlocked before you can practice on them) in any mode (also has to be unlocked)! Pick the bike you think has the best attributes for the course you're runnin, whether you wanna use a manual or automatic transmission, and get goin'! You can also compete in single races, rather than the entire tour.

Yikes! I'm gettin' a bit long-winded here, which mean I'd better wind this up. In conclusion, I recommend this particular bit o' software for the novice PC MotorCross competitor. If you're a bit more seasoned, however, try your hand at the later MotoRacer™ games!
