Duke is short-changing us,

The image quality seems OK (2002 was the best), the commentary is very good (Toby Moody and Julian Ryder), but there's very little racing!!!In 2003, Rossi won his third championship on a Honda. At the end of the season, he announced a switch to Yamaha for 2004. Few were expecting him to win from the outset, and expectations for the first race were enormous ... and we get 4 minutes of race coverage! Not just for this race, but pretty much the rest of the season, we get less than 5 minutes per race. On the 2001 DVD, each race was given 8 or 9 or even 13 minutes. The trend has grown worse each year, and the 2004 review hit a real low. It's pathetic that the VHS tapes from the 1990s contain almost twice as much racing as the DVDs of the 2000s. MotoGP fans should boycott Duke until this craziness stops.

Huge disappointment,

Following the wait for this to come out as well as Rossi's landmark season, this DVD was a huge let down. Barely any qualifying footage, no post-race interviews and some races seemed to be over almost as soon as they started. Previous seasons were much better produced and I hope this is a temporary blip.....

Not as good as last years,

I was sorely disapointed in this video. The quality when compared to previous editions of the series is poor. One can tell that they rushed through the production and did not put the effort into this edition that have been in the past ones.

Everyone is right,

I couldn't have said it any better. Half the fun is the post race interviews, but we are getting short-changed with wam-bam-thank you ma'am race footage. I will start the Duke Video boycott.

A great DVD, for a good season of motogp. a must collect for all.2004 was a season to rememeber by everyone. valentino rossi's move from honda to yamaha is something to watch. the dvd covers 5 minutes worth of highlights of each event, and they are the best footage from each race. it captures all the passes and accidents.

ROSSIS 1ST YEAR WITH YAMAHA,

I OWN SEVERAL MOTO GPS FROM BOTH THE 90S AND ROSSI ERA AND THEY ALL DIFFER IN ONE WAY OR ANOTHER. I CAN HONESTLY SAY IF YOU ARE A TRUE FAN OF MOTO GP YOU WILL ENJOY ALL OF THEM INCLUDING THIS ONE DESPITE THE BAD REVIEWS. ROSSI JUMPS ON THE YAMAHA M1 THAT IS NOWHERE NEAR AS DEVELOPED AS THE HONDA RC211V(WICH THEY GAVE TO SEVERAL OTHER RIDERS IN AN EFFORT TO DETHRONE THE DOCTOR) AND HAS SOME GOOD FIGHTS WITH GIBERNAU ALONG THE WAY. THE DVD FEATURES NEWS OFF TRACK, ON BOARD LAPS AND SOME EXTRAS INCLUDING 2 ONBOARD HIGHLIGHT REELS AND 2 HIGHLIGHT REELS OF THE SEASON. THERE WILL BE SOME SERIOUS CRASHES(AS ALWAYS), AND A CLEAR EXPLANATION(IF ANYONE WAS CURIOUS) AS TO WHY KAWASAKI NO LONGER IS INVOLVED WITH THE MOTO GP. THE CONS ARE THAT AT TIMES THE EDITING WILL NOT BE SATISFYING BUT THIS IS SOMETHING THAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM ANY MOTO GP DVD. I HAVE WATCHED THIS DVD AT LEAST 10 TIMES AND BASED ON THE LEVEL OF RACING AND PRICE GIVE IT A 5 STAR RATING.
