Well, it is for this reason that I began using Gunk motor flush with every oil change beginning with the first one.

In 2001 I bought a new Lexus RX300. Not long after buying it I began reading about its tendency to suffer early motor failure due to sludge formation. Toyota was coy about the cause but did address the problem by notifying each owner that their engines would be covered for at least 100,000 miles provided they could show proof of regular oil changes. Well, it is for this reason that I began using Gunk motor flush with every oil change beginning with the first one. The result? I now have 148,000 miles on the engine and according to my mechanic it is ready to go another 148,000. It doesn't burn a drop of oil and the compression on each cylinder in right on. Would it have done so well with the oil changes alone (I change this car's oil every 3K) I don't know. But since my routine has worked so well for so long there's no way I'll change my oil without it. Just be sure to follow the directions and you'll be fine.

The gunk engine flush product is a decent product. I've tried both professional use and store bought products and noticed no noticeable difference. Of course I have not pulled a motor apart after extensive use to check clearances or anything. I go based on my own visable judgement. I think these are NOT miracle products but using them frequently on a 'as needed' basis can help. I use this primarily on my girlfriends 1996 Toyota Avalon. Which is just about to pass the 400,000 mi mark. Synthetic oil every 3500-4000 miles with this product when it slips our minds.

This always has been, and always will be one of my favorite things for cleaning up an old, high-mileage engine. Works great, and couldn't be easier to use

I used this product when I changed my oil. It works perfectly. I followed the directions exactly. It cleaned so much sludge out of my engine. I may use it one more time, but then I don't think I will need it again for a long while. I bought my car used, and when I changed my oil, I noticed that the oil always came out black. I change my oil every 2500 to 300 miles. I spoke with my mechanic, and he told me my engine was probably very dirty. After using Gunk, my car is running just like the day I bought it from the dealership. My car is almost ten years old, with 125000 miles on it! Needless to say, I love the stuff. Gunk brought all the pick up back into my car.

I have a 2002 Infinity Qx4 the oil had been used for a couple of months but was still crystaline, I used this as directed, and the stuff that came out looked like tar, i had a position sensor that kept giving me errors even after replacement and my check engine light has not turned on since.

The 4 of 5 star rating is due to the lack of information on how to use it, I looked everywhere and I couldn't find out if I should take out a little oil to make room for the additive or not, but in my case mt car was about a quart low so i just went ahead and did it, run it on a cold engine for 5 minutes only this stuff is really strong.

used this for years when i get a new used vehicle, or when my vehicles get older (say every 15,000 miles or so).

really, really, really cleans out the engine when used as directed.

recently had an older toyota prius where the engine was getting a litlle bit noisy (ticking). used this and the ticking is gone and the engine runs smoother. a miracle product.

some years back i had a sticky lifter in an older vehicle. tried this, but still had the sticky lifter. but, when i opened up the engine to get to the sticky lifter, everyone at the shop where i worked commented that they never saw an engine with 80,000 miles on it look so clean inside. never. it was simply amazing.

safe to use when used as directed.

highly recommended.

Product although being awesome, does not ship very well. Every time I have ordered this Flush, the box containing it has spills in it. Besides that 5 star.

My 2004 pathfinder was showing signs of clogging. I could hear camshaft rotating when I start the engine in the first time. It got to the point that I really didn't want to drive the car cause didn't want to damage the engine. I warmed the engine to operating temperature and did engine flush with this product and the problem was solved! NO MORE SOUND OF CAMSHAFT ROTATING! I am not saying that all the varnishes has been removed but it fixed the problem that I wanted to fix for long time! This engine flush product works guys! However!!!!! this one is not recommended for turbo charged vehicles! You have to get the one supports the turbocharged. anyway! Just get it!
