3.0 out of 5 stars Something for everybody, August 29, 2007
This review is from: Motor Racing: A Century of Competition and Human Challenges (Hardcover)
Though the hugest section is on F1, the book covers almost every kind of car racing: from Le mans to rally, from NASCAR to Targa Florio. Obviously it's not a definitive book on any of the many themes, but as an overall "auto racing encylopedia" I think it delivers what it promises. If you already are knowledgeable on these subjects, then maybe this is not the book for you, but for the novice I think it does a fine job in presenting all these categories of racing. Pictures aren't fantastic, but are pretty good. One thing that did annoy me though was the way the authors displayed the captions for the pictures, that more often then not was confusing to find out what picture the caption related to.
