Informative, entertaining and not just for bikers!
"Motorcycle Arizona" is a very informative book. This book is not just for motorcyclists. It is helpful for everyone looking for anything from a day trip to a full week in Arizona. Good information, but the book could use some polish.
The book has some useful touring information presented with a sense of humor. It could use a little polish and some color pictures would make it more appealing. Overall it will save the reader some time in planning a motorcycle trip to Arizona and is worth reading.

"Motorcycle Arizona" is a very informative book. This book is not just for motorcyclists. It is helpful for everyone looking for anything from a day trip to a full week in Arizona. We bought it hoping to find a few day trips from Phoenix. After thumbing through to find a suitable trip, I began reading his discriptions of each destination. His writing style is very entertaining and I enjoyed it alomost more for his amusing stories than for the trips themselves. He makes you want to go to these places to experience the same things. I can't wait to go to the little town to see the wild burrows walk the streets looking for food hand outs from visitors. Or to Montezuma's Well which is one of the only natural lakes in AZ and is filled with water containing a strange chemical make up, unlike any nearby water source. he has great stories for each destination. It's all so interesting and very informative. His tips on what to carry and how to dress are invaluable as well.
All in all, this is an excellent book, not only as a travel aid, but as an interesting read. |
